Overview: We are seeking a skilled and proactive ISO 27001 Implementer to join our team immediately. This role is pivotal in ensuring our organization achieves and maintains compliance with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security management, risk assessment, compliance frameworks, and hands-on experience in implementing UAE IA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in line with ISO 27001:2022 standards.
- Develop and update information security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with UAE IA standards and other regulatory frameworks.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities.
- Prepare the organization for external ISO 27001 audits and certification processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards, including UAE IA.
- Design and deliver security awareness programs to enhance organizational knowledge and practices.
- Monitor and report on key security metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance.
- Provide expert guidance on managing third-party risks and maintaining supply chain security.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications: ISO 27001 Lead Implementer certification is mandatory; additional certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or CISSP are an advantage.
Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience in implementing ISO 27001 frameworks and UAE IA standards.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and governance frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security technologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results under tight deadlines.
