We are looking for a hands-on and adaptable HR Assistant / HR Officer to support HR operations across a group of companies in Abu Dhabi. This role involves managing employee lifecycle processes for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with UAE Labour Law, and coordinating closely with PROs, management, and department heads.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling HR documentation, onboarding/offboarding, and government-related processes (visa, medical, Emirates ID), while maintaining accurate records across different companies within the group. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations, consistency in policy implementation, and timely support to employees across various business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day HR operations across multiple business entities within the group
- Assist in the full recruitment cycle: job postings, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding
- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and documentation in line with UAE labor regulations
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates
- Assist in payroll coordination by preparing and validating employee data (attendance, leaves, etc.)
- Handle employee queries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and company policies
- Support visa processing, medicals, Emirates ID applications, and other government-related documentation
- Prepare HR reports, letters, and documentation (offer letters, contracts, NOCs, etc.)
- Assist in implementing HR initiatives, policies, and procedures across the group
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–5 years of HR experience within the UAE (preferably in a group of companies)
- Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR best practices
- Experience with HR systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
