About the Role
We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Legal Advisor to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice and support to management and various departments, ensuring the company's activities and operations remain compliant with applicable UAE laws and regulations.
The role requires strong knowledge of UAE legislation, excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to assess legal risks and provide practical solutions to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and guidance to management and internal departments on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters.
- Draft, review, revise, and negotiate contracts, agreements, memoranda, legal notices, and other legal documents.
- Ensure company operations, policies, and agreements comply with applicable UAE laws and regulations.
- Conduct legal research and interpret legislation, regulations, and government requirements relevant to the company's activities.
- Identify potential legal risks and provide recommendations and strategies to minimize exposure.
- Manage and follow up on legal disputes, claims, cases, and other legal proceedings, where applicable.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel, government authorities, regulatory bodies, and other relevant parties.
- Review commercial agreements, employment-related matters, service agreements, partnership agreements, and other contractual arrangements.
- Provide support during negotiations with clients, suppliers, partners, employees, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare legal opinions, reports, correspondence, and recommendations for management.
- Monitor changes in UAE laws and regulations and advise management of any developments that may impact the business.
- Maintain organized and confidential records of contracts, legal cases, correspondence, and other legal documentation.
- Support the company in ensuring proper legal documentation and compliance across all business activities.
- Perform any other legal duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law; Master's degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably within the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of UAE laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
- Previous experience in corporate, commercial, employment, or general business law is preferred.
- Fluent Arabic speaker with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong knowledge of contract drafting, legal research, negotiation, and risk assessment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with different departments.
- Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
- Immediate availability / immediate joiner is preferred.
- Male candidate preferred.
